Get optimum scanning quality with three different scanning modes: Line/Photo, and Photo Modes. These modes are used in conjunction with Real Time Thresholding, Auto despeckle, and background reduction giving you excellent scanning results. For scan-to-file functionality, the KIP scanner comes standard with two scan-to-file software packages. Utilize Powerprint Scan and KIP Scan Client to scan from 100-400 dpi to monochrome TIFF group 4, CALS group 4, and Intergraph CIT. The addition of the KIP TWAIN driver allows for scanning with other third-party applications.
